CRISPR CUTOUT

I worked on the video game CRISPR Cutout during my second Co-Op with Drexel University’s Microbiology & Immunology department. This game introduces the molecular mechanisms of

a cutting-edge genome editing technology referred to as CRISPR that is designed to cure disease. The game was created to teach individuals how this technology effects the body,

specifically to help patients undergoing this treatment better understand what is going on in their body.

On this project, I was responsible for translating medical drawings and diagrams into animations. I designed, modeled, textured, rigged, and animated 3D models

using Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop. These stills depict the jouney that this technology takes. It begins in the blood stream, then enters into cells and alters

DNA as a way to cure disease. Additionally, I developed content throughout pre-production, animation, and post-production using After Effects and Premiere Pro.
